One Chord Wonders

What a world of change has occurred since my last entry here. Suppose Dustin and I moved from the horrible landlords on Capital Hill in with Dustin's brother and his wife's basement suite. They were worse landlords tenfold and after 2 weeks of hearing them stomping around upstairs from 530 am every day of the week until going to sleep at night, we decided to ask them to be more considerate about the noise.. instead of a normal humanly response, they decided to evict us after 2 weeks of living there and all the moving expenses. On a whim, after being tired of BC and our experiences here we decided stupidly to move to Toronto. That sucked ass so bad it was beyond belief. Without going in to well any detail because I'd rather forget about it, we stopped in Prince George for 2 weeks to get ripped off a bit more by people/landlords we left there too to come back to BC. Unfortunately had to stay at my mums place for 5 weeks, me Dustin and our two kitties.. she's one crazy lady and that was not fun, nor does she put heat on in the winter time, so it was really cold on top of all her crazy.
After a few rejections of places to move in to we found one we really love all inclusive near Commercial Drive, just don't have enough money to furnish it what with all the debt incurred over the Toronto fiasco, car issues, rent issues, money loss, insurance, food and the like... we are in the process of sorting that out but are in our new place and it is well heated, centrally located for transit, a nice character house newly renovated and pretty awesome all around.
So things are getting better, he's back to work as a stonemason again and enjoying it more than ever, i got a shitty customer service inbound call center job, but it will pay the bills for now!
We've had some ups and downs as most relationships do but everything is going wonderfully right now and I'm glad that we're so happy!
