Hangover

"Remember what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Except for herpes. That shit'll come back with you."

Well, last night in mt invalid like state I went out to meet Glen, Steph and Matt Phillips at Tinseltown to see the new movie Hangover which was ridiculously funny, so I was quite impressed with it. A classic of sorts. Then we went down to the Chinatown Night Market which was neat. We all got bubble tea which the only word to describe it was interesting!

After that we all parted ways and I went down to meet Dustin at the jam space, watched To the Nines practice 2 more songs and then we hung out front for a few minutes and Dustin and I took a stroll over to Burrard area and hung out for a while looking up at the tall buildings, one of which looked like a sad R2D2, and just talked. It was fun. Then went home for much needed sleep.

Thursday night I went to Dustin's as well and we all hung out a while at the house then him, Lee and I went down to Safeway grabbed some food and went down to the skatepark, snacked then they skated for a good 2 hours but it was nice just to be enjoying the outside in the new found warmth and I've always thought watching dudes skate is very enjoyable.

Wrote an email to Niklas this morning, hopefully our paths will cross in the near future, we've both got different ideas for travel but I would really dig it if I had a travel companion or at least someone to live with if I did a working Holiday in Sweden or something, maybe even Australia and we could travel around the Southern Hemisphere. We'll chat about it more at length soon I'm sure but on with the saving and decisions to follow but I do want a very legitimate visa whichever plan that is to come. International student is just a bit too pricey I reckon. Though I wish it were do-able to an extent though whichever thing I decide, surely it will be amazing.

Been listening to a lot of Against Me lately, busted out some NOFX and Operation Ivy as well for classics sake.

Met up with Joline on Wednesday, first time I've seen her in ages, she's happily engaged with a studly Cuban who looks like a lot of fun, so I'm very happy for her. Tuesday also went to Dustins and we made Root Beer floats, nostalgic! And watched some Sopranos.

Unfortunately I haven't had the time or energy to write back to a lot of emails to friends in this gimped state cos one hand typing is not rad but at work now which allows for a bit of down time so thought I'd give it a bit of a go. Also got to MSN chat with Shasa for a while, he makes me smile when we chat, well done! Looking forward to hanging out with him too when I do eventually go back to England, if only for a brief period I will have loads of people to see and that`s very exciting!
