without a life guard on duty. haha duty...haha diarrhea.
uh. today was quite uneventful but i didn't mind at all. i only slept until just after ten not sure why cause i didn't go to sleep until about 3. after lounging around i went with my mum to go to a and b sound, but they didn't have the damien rice cd in even though it was suposed to be out today. so i caught the bus to langley centre/value village and made time for my appointment on friday. i'll still have to work 8 hours though. so much standing! i came back, ran in to nick piper and we've never really had a one on one conversation but today we did on the mini bus. it was quite nice, he had been to london before with his family and was telling me about it. he's a swell guy. did some reading of the magus i'd say i'm one sixth through the book, so i gotta get my heads up on reading that, there are so many other books i have to get. mainly london travel guide, and soon i guess...
steph and mark came over because i told them i would give them bilbos cage, originally it was for a hamspter but i got the pregnant rat instead and named it a males name.who woulda thought. oh well, they ahve that cage now as they really got a hampster, after about a half an hour of trying to come up with a name, they took my suggestion, "Dink" the hampster. man a lot of wacky names were brought up though. they departed, glen called, we chatted about stuff, london and films and records, the usual really. and then i had this really long conversation with trevor about his going to australia and about school and how people see others and writing of thoughts and solitude and worrying. it was a lengthy one. i quite enjoyed it, in the process of that convo i went up and rented eurotrip actually, and i'm about to go and watch that. i also just watched some of last comic standing, quite humerous. but it's not like the first episodes, they live in a house together and get booted off, or voted off like in survivoresque ideals. but atleast this is humerous. and off to watch the film, that glen highly recommends so i have to see this shit.
