cross my fingers, i hope i get a jobby
yea that title, it's in reference to you chris. i hope i get a jobby, freddy, i'll keep my fingers crossed.
i don't like applying, you don't like applying. no one likes walking in somewhere telling them or the managers that you want a jobby, becuase there are so many people who want that jobby. and usually i've always gone in not knowing what to say and with the attitude like, i know i'm not going to get a job here but i'm trying anyways. for some reason with vv it worked out. maybe that was luck, maybe i'm just a bubbly person at an interview like they thought.. who knows, who cares. you gotta try to accomplish something, i know that much in life. or else.. just give up all hope and maybe somethign will come your way, although that's a lot more doubtful than the first suggestion.
i'm really stoked on going to london, or having finalized my decision to go to london, as i was still in the same position as previously, i had the ticket and that...still continue to have it. but this way i'm not losing 450$ like i would have. imagine what a dumbass i would have felt like had i stayed at value village and not gone to london and lost that fundage. oh man, i can see the disappointment now. i'm going to leave with the notion of getting the job back at 50/50. and not worry about it. my letter of resignation is in, however, and i work until 11th of august, the day before i depart.
oh when me and steph were taking the bus back from van there was this kid with his dad and the pop can fell out of his pappys bag and rolled to the front of the bus and the kid yelled "MY FIVE CENTS!!!" and chased it to the front. it was very amusing. later the dad dropped another one by accident and the kid sais "don't dent it, it'll only be worth 4 cents if you do" interesting, i swear the kid was like 6....maybe. i'm pretty sure you're still good if the can is mildly dented though.
i told glen that we were still going to go to japan, cause back when we were going out we made a plan to go to japan for 3 months. i still want to go with that plan, and he was like, "oh yea we'll still do that? okay, you work on winning the lottery, i'll work on doing nothing" so.. i'll see what i can do. but i definatly want to go over, not that he'll have three months in between schooling what so ever but maybe we can make two weeks out of it some summer time. not necessarily next one, that's ireland, potentially. the year after.. we'll go to japan!
today was really long, or it felt like it. i've been standing so much lately it sucks balls. i'm glad to have tues/weds off work. not so much standing will be nice.
must go to a and b sound tomorrow and get the new damien rice...aah that'll be magnificent i'm sure.
