Can I borrow a feeling?

Saturday, December 20, 2003

No music? That's intrusive.

"why do you believe that?"
"Because it's in the bible."
"So you believe everything that's in the bible?"
"I don't even know, I haven't read all of it."
Hilarious words by my co-worker Amy. I told her maybe she should think more about reasoning behind beliefs. Not that it's my business, and not that I really care. But I found the fact that she had no reasoning for her beliefs humerous. That is all.
And also a girl, quite possibly a drop out!, brought in her resume and Amy asked the girl if her resume had her number on it, so I sarcastically added "No, Amy it doesn't have her number on it!" She understood why I had to say that to her. Not too bad.
Now I'm listening to Thursday-War all the Time... Thank you Chris for that. It's proving not to bad, however, I would have liked to have that second copy of the mars volta, but I understand why it was not really a necessity. But, what really is a necessity these days. Everyone loves posessions.
5 days.. basically 4 now. until the day that I get to open and play with my new turntable, oh god. The anticipation. It's sitting on that table glaring at me with its picture on the outside of the box, just teasing me. Calling words of.. alright, you got me. It's not a person, but if only it was. He'd be the perfect man. ha. ok I think I'm tierd.
The different thigns people choose to write about in their online journals is ingriguing, what goes on in their mind that they are deciding to share certain thoughts and not other thoughts, how is the mind selecting these options. Or is it just what seems to be coming out when your fingers hit the keys? I guess it's not the same for the people who have to look at they hands when they type, a little different for them. In any event, these journals that hundreds of hundreds of thousands of people have are being shared online so that other random people they know and don't know can read their thoughts at that current moment in time. Fucked up world we live in. Who cares?
