Can I borrow a feeling?

i'm not glowing.

last night i went on an adventure all by my lonesome after asking several people to travel out to the distant land of chilliwack. none worked out, and i had that fucking gift certificate so i was not going to pass up the opportunity to ride the greyhound bus. and so i did. oh i rode it, for about an hour. then i wandered around cottonwood mall then caught the bus down to twin rinks which was right next to the concert hall. also near a skate park and a playing park. i swung on the swings for a while then sat down on the bench that was near by to write my then current thoughts on paper. i was basically tryin to use up an hour until the concert was supposed to start.
since i had went alone, i saw this other kid who went alone and i tried to initiate conversation with him but he said he wasn't the worlds most talkative person. eventually i went over to see if i could find ryan, who i obviously could. and that was that. he told me the frenetics had trouble with their equipment getting left in nelson, where they were in storeage so they would be late. the bands who played were rum runner , hog puncher (both from calgary) starless nights from surrey and then the frenetics from montreal.
i didn't purchase any product however i did enjoy all of the bands. so i wouldn't say it was a bad concert by any means.
this one dude, some called him beer guy cause he was always with beer in hand, had stretched ears and took his wallet chain put it through both of the ears attached two chairs that didn't look very light by any means and swung them around in a circle about 5 times. the things people do!
since i thought that it would be nice however a little too low key to stay at the grandparentals. i checked with marion if i could stay at her place for the night but that was a no go, so i asked ryan and that ended up working out. we walked over to his friends house. well he knew all three of the brothers who lived there and there were a couple other dudes there as well. dogma was on tv and we watched the end of that and one dude flicked to some B+ pornography that was on tv for a moment. humerous. we ended up going for a walk to a local park to smoke a few bowls. which we proceeded to do so. i enjoyed the park it had a nice vibe to it, quite small with just the essentials and trees that looked like really cool sillouhettes. all his friends seemed like very nice people, and welcoming, i was introduced to all and yup i had a very splendid evening.
eventually one of his friends drove us to his place which was plentiful on the squeeky floor business. anywhere you stepped in any part of the house made a sound. it was nuts.
uuh. we woke this morning and there wasn't much time before i had to catch the bus back to get the greyhound bus successfully then back in to brookswood, shower as weather is insanely hot and then off to pita to close with nikkie. nikkie rocks. we talked all night, and i wasn't smiling at all during the shift so she kept wondering what was the matter and telling me to cheer up. oh wait, no quite the opposite. she said i was glowing. but i'm no jason lee.. no elevator excursions like his for me, boy.
